Welcome to Clapton Park. Come and find out what we do in our centre!
We love when the parents/carers share what the children have been up to outside of the nursery with us. It is lovely to see the learning being extended and the children actively learning new skills. We have even had comments that the children have been teaching them what they have learnt in the nursery whilst at home. Amazing! Well done children!

Parent Comments- Home Learning
"Kofi loved seeing his friends and the staff from nursery and making pancakes together - they were delicious!"
"Minnie enjoyed a nature walk in Victoria Park, using the binoculars she had made to look for squirrels and birds. She loved collecting lots of different ‘nature treasures’ in her pot to bring home!"
"Zadie loved seeing Gifty and Louis making African masks, she is sooooooo excited about going back to nursery on Monday !!!"
"We made some of things from the Room on the Broom story and got dressed up."
"We made a "box monster" together, and decorated it.
(Idea from The Five Minute Mum)
The box monster demanded to be fed first letters, and then numbers 0-9. We obviously need to work on number recognition as he got a bit confused between the rounded ones: 3, 6, 8 and 9.
Letters were a lot more successful. He really enjoyed the game although was quite scared of the box monster at first so I had to tone down the growling!"
