The Beech Room (2-5 year olds)
In the Beech Room, we are excited to welcome your little ones from Monday to Friday. Our daily schedule is structured to provide a nurturing environment where children can thrive. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: The Beech Room is open from 9:00am to 3:00pm. During these days, we offer a variety of activities that promote learning through play, creativity, and social interaction. Our schedule on Wednesdays is slightly different. We welcome children for the morning session from 9:00am to 12:30pm. We then welcome children for the afternoon session from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.
Our dedicated staff employs a key person system, which means that each child is assigned a specific caregiver who takes the time to understand them as individuals. This personalised approach helps us plan activities that cater to each child’s unique needs and interests, ensuring they receive the support necessary both inside and outside of the nursery. We believe that strong communication with parents and caregivers is essential, and we work closely with you to ensure your child’s development is on track.
For our toddlers, we focus on fostering independence and encouraging them to become active learners. In the Beech Room, children are motivated to develop new physical skills, enhance their cognitive abilities, and express themselves using simple sentences. We promote imaginative play, allowing them to create their own stories and narratives while following simple instructions. Additionally, we encourage exploration of new objects and interactions with different people, helping them build confidence in their surroundings.
Our preschoolers, are encouraged to delve deeper into their curiosity about the world around them. We foster an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and seeking clarity on various topics. During conversations, we guide them towards using extended sentences for better expression of their thoughts and ideas. Sharing personal experiences with peers is also emphasised as it enhances social skills. Safety is a priority; therefore, children learn how to use equipment responsibly while becoming more aware of safety practices. Furthermore, we support their journey towards self-sufficiency by encouraging them to dress and undress independently.
We are committed to providing a warm and engaging atmosphere where your child can grow, learn, and explore at their own pace!
