The Birthnight of the Turtles

As the phosphorescent, illuminated moon raised the young turtles, they headed to the open ocean. As a small amount of hatchlings were rising more and more were coming, it was like a horde. The onland predators of the endangered species, were hungry for food as the night sky was helpful for the younglings it was although their doom, while the babies were scattering for the blue sea, there they were the ferocious Sea Eagles swooping down collecting the tiny green turtles as they were a collectibles from a movie. As the hatchlings were fleeing from their nest more predators came out to hunt, soon it was a feeding frenzy, only about 75 hatchlings got away, but yet their adventure didn't end. They had to get past sharks, crabs, large predatory fish to reach their sanctuary. The sharks and the fish started coming yet they were small but they were out matched. The numbers of turtles were dropping rapidly like flies. But 50 escaped the terror as the rest were devoured by the killers. As the survivors succeeded the night, their adventure had just began. They had to swim for miles to reach the sanctuary. As sunrise struck, the turtles were tired and yet they had one more day until they reached their brand new home as they were weak and they didn't have the ability to breathe underwater like adults. The turtles slept on the surface of the colossal sea, as they were resting, slowly they were getting to their destination. 5 hours has passed the turtles are 3 quarters to the sanctuary (The Great Barrier Reef). The exotic hatchlings had arrived to their new home.

5 years later...

This one specific rare breed of turtles is endangered showing us that we must take care of them. We are circling around this animal because she is pregnant and must reach the birthplace of the younglings, she shall cover them in sand, so they are not exposed to beasts. This unique animal has reached its destination to allow her to lay her eggs. As she is depositing the eggs, around a 100 to 200 eggs. Now she shall bury her eggs for protection, as the sun is setting. The Mother has to lay another 6 clutches of eggs. She returns to her home and waits for her babies. A couple of months later... The night sky directs the baby turtles to the sea. Here, they are on their own to find their Mother.

Bu Dafydd Iwan yn rheng flaen y byd canu Cymraeg ers dechrau'r 60au, a daeth i fri drwy ei ganeuon gwladgarol a'i ran yn ymgyrchoedd iaith y 60au a'r 70au. Mae'n un o sylfaenwyr Cwmni SAIN. Ganwyd Dafydd ym Mrynaman, Sir Gaerfyrddin yn un o bedwar o feibion i weinidog gyda'r Annibynwyr. Graddiodd mewn Pensaerniaeth yn 1968, ond erbyn hynny, roedd Cymdeithas yr Iaith Gymraeg a'r byd canu wedi mynd a'i fryd. Ers 1962, bu Dafydd Iwan yn cyfansoddi a chanu ei ganeuon ar lwyfannau Cymru a gwledydd eraill. Cyhoeddodd 20 o recordiau hir, yn cynnwys 11 CD, 4 fideo a DVD o berfformiadau byw, sawl llyfr o ganeuon, a dau hunangofiant. Mae wedi cyfansoddi dros 250 o ganeuon, ac fel rheol bydd yn cyfansoddi'r geiriau a'r alaw ei hunan. Ei albym ddiweddaraf yw 'Dos i Ganu' (2009), a chyhoeddodd “Goreuon Dafydd Iwan yn 2006, un o Gryno-Ddisgiau Cymraeg mwyaf poblogaidd y ddegawd. Mae'n Gyfarwyddwr ar Gwmni Recordiau Sain, sy'n cyflogi 30 o bobol yn Llandwrog (a siop Na-N'Og yng Nghaernarfon) ac sy'n gwerthu Cryno-Ddisgiau, DVD a llyfrau i bedwar ban y byd. Yn ogystal a sefydlu Sain, b'n sylfaenydd ne'n aelod cynnar o Gymdeithas yr Iaith Gymraeg, Cymdeithas Tai Gwynedd, Arianrhod, Canolfan Iaith Nant Gwrtheyrn ac Antur Waunfawr. Ma'n Gyn-Gadeirydd Cymdeithas yr Iaith Gymraeg, ac ers 2003, mae'n Llywydd ar Blaid Cymru. Mae'n aelod er anrhydedd o Orsedd y Beirdd ar sail ei gyfraniad i ddiwylliant Cymru, ac yn Gymrawd Anrhydeddus o Brifysgolion Bangor ac Aberystwyth, ac yn Ddoethur er anrhydedd yn y Cyfreithiau. Mae hefyd yn bregethwr cynorthwyol, ac yn Gadeirydd Partneriaeth Economaidd Gwynedd a Chyngor Cymuned Bontnewydd. Mae Dafydd yn byw gyda'i wraig Bethan a'u dau fab Caio a Celt yn Rhos-bach, Caeathro, ar gyrion tre Caernarfon; mae ganddo hefyd dri o blant hyn, sef Llion Tegai, Elliw Haf, a Telor Hedd.
