Open House - It was wonderful to see so many of you at Open House last night!  We had a great turnout and sincerely appreciate your time. We are always looking to improve (or know what we did well!). If you could take a few minutes to complete the Open House Parent/Guardian Feedback 2023 that would be great. If you weren’t able to make it, we hope to see you around another time! 

MAP testing NEXT WEEK - All students will be taking the NWEA MAP tests next week.  We use this assessment information to guide our instruction, including our intervention and enrichment groups.

We sincerely appreciate you helping your student be successful by making sure they:

• • Get a good night's sleep and eat a good breakfast

  • Arrive on-time to school

  • Come to school with their Chromebook fully charged

  • Avoid appointments if possible

Half-day - Students will be dismissed at 11:22 am on Thursday, September 14th.

Most Clubs begin NEXT week!  Did you forget to sign up for a club?  It's NOT too late!  Check out the GMS Music, Clubs and Sports 2023-2024 document for the available clubs, and call the office to add your child.  NOTE: The following clubs are FULL - Art Club, History and Films, VSC, and Board Games Club.

The 4:30 Late Bus begins on Tuesday and will run every week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. ANY student in an after-school activity can ride the 4:30 bus.

OPPORTUNITY - To kick off the Niles North Feeder Basketball Fall 2023 Season, the Niles North Feeder Basketball League is hosting an open gym at the Niles North Field House beginning Sunday, September 10, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.   All junior high school students are welcome. REPEAT - 6-8 Grade Girls - Opportunity! - Girls Who Code is a free weekly extracurricular program to introduce middle school female-identifying students (grades 6-8) to computer science and computer programming.  Please click to see the flyer or registration form.
