Report cards - The Quarter 1 report cards for students are now available for viewing. Your child's report card may be found in the Student Reports section of the Parent Portal in Infinite Campus. To access your child's report card, please click here for instructions.

Chorus celebration and shout out - Congratulations to Ellie (6th grade), Lenn (8th grade), and Molly (8th grade) who did an excellent job at the ILMEA (Illinois Music Education Association) District 7 Junior Honors Festival last Saturday! 

Spirit Week - The GMS Student Council has organized a Spirit Week for us next week in honor of it being the week before Thanksgiving break. We are hoping you can all participate! The dress days are listed below.

Monday 11/13 = pajama day

Tuesday 11/14 = hat day

Wednesday 11/15 = sports day

Thursday 11/16 = tie dye day

Friday 11/17 = each grade wears a different color

5th grade = purple                  

6th grade =  green     

7th grade = black

8th grade =  red  

Teachers = white/grey

The GMS Volunteer Service Club is sponsoring TWO service projects that end NEXT Friday, November 17th.

• Share the Sweetness candy drive - Students can bring in any wrapped candy, including any leftover Halloween candy!

• Socktober (flyer)- Please bring in NEW socks - ALL sizes are welcome! 

VSC will be sharing the warmth and the sweetness by creating care packages with socks and candy for people in our community - Connections for the Homeless in Evanston.

The Hynes Volunteer Service Club - Is hosting a Food Drive NEXT WEEK only - flyer!  They will be collecting unexpired cereal, rice, pasta, dry goods, canned goods, socks, and toilet paper. We will have a box at GMS where items can be dropped off!
