The Solar Eclipse on Monday was a lot of fun!  Students had their safety glasses on and did a WONDERFUL job!  We noticed shadows changing, and a drop in the temperature.  Many of us were surprised it wasn't darker given we had 94% coverage!  It shows just how powerful the sun is that it was still so bright outside! 

As you've seen in the Important Dates Ahead, next week, students in 5th and 8th grades will be taking the Illinois Science Assessment (ISA). These are the only two grades assessed each year. Here are some important points about the ISA:

• There are three separate units (Life, Physical, and Earth science). 

• Each unit has about 30 questions and will take about 45 minutes to complete. 

• Testing will take place on Tuesday and Thursday mornings starting in 1st period and going into part of 2nd period. 

• They will need to bring their headphones.

• PLEASE make sure students arrive to school on-time.

• Similar to the IAR test, we will receive these results sometime over the summer.

8th-grade parents - End-of-year information - Eighth grade parents, you received an email today at 3:00 pm - IMPT - 8th grade End of Year and Graduation Information for May 2024, which contained important information about 8th grade end-of-year activities! 

• 8th grade parent letter - Quarter 4, graduation and baby pictures 2024! It is PACKED with information, including electronic permission slips and a couple of other "to do's" for parents.

Registration for the 2024-2025 school year is now open for families of returning Golf School District 67 students.

To get started, you will need to complete the following steps:

1. Log in to your Infinite Campus Portal account, select “More” from the bottom left corner, and click “Online Registration.”

2. Choose “Existing Student Registration” and click “Begin Registration” to review and update your household and contact information.

Ongoing reminders... Thank you for helping your middle schooler remember these three things EVERY DAY:

1. 1. 1. Bring a fully CHARGED Chromebook to school.

      2. Wear their school lanyard and student ID to school.

      3. Arrive ON TIME to school. Students should be sitting in their seats by 8:20 am (best to drop off by 8:10 am).
