Be Kind    *    Be Respectful    *    Be Your Personal Best

4-26-2024

Cricket Expo in today in PE classes - A huge thank you to Mr. Atwood and Ms. Vojack for organizing the Cricket Expo for students in their PE classes today!  We were fortunate to have very our own Mr. Baig (technology director), his brother Mr. Baig, and Coach Abbasi from the United Cricket Foundation here to teach students about Cricket and give them a try a pitching and hitting the ball!  The Foundation also donated the Cricket equipment used today to our PE program!

"Friday Fun" Incentive and Celebration - Starting next Friday, we will have weekly celebrations recognizing students who are following expected behavior expectations throughout the day. We will have a slightly modified schedule, ending the day on Friday with students being able to choose a fun activity for about the last 30 minutes of the day. Students learned about the rollout in Advisory, and we are excited to recognize our students who are doing an awesome job being models with expected behaviors. We have SO MANY students doing the right thing and they deserve to know and feel that!

🏀 ♥️ ⚽️ ♥️ 🏐  GMS Sports Section  🏐 ♥️ ⚽️ ♥️ 🏀

Most sports are for students in 7th (JV) and 8th (Varsity) grades.  For some sports, we offer opportunities to the 6th graders. That depends on the interest at the 7th and 8th-grade levels.

IF you have a child who is planning on trying out for one of the seasons below next year, he/she

MUST have a current sports physical on file in the nurse's office.

PLEASE DO NOT WAIT.  A student cannot try out without a current physical on file.
