Once you have started your Zoom meeting, navigate to the Zoom menu along the bottom of your Zoom screen.

The Share Screen Icon is the only green icon on the bottom of the screen. DO NOT CLICK THIS ICON. Immediately to the right of this icon is a tiny up arrow that looks like ^, click on this arrow.

This will open a menu, click the option on the bottom that says “Advanced Sharing Options” This will open a box on your screen.

In the box that appears, make sure the bubble next to “Only Host” is checked of underneath the question “Who Can Share?”

These settings will save automatically. You can now close out of the box that popped up on your screen.

On the bottom of your Zoom Screen, you will see an icon that looks like a shield and beneath it says “Security.” Click on this icon.

You will now see a menu pop up above the icon. In this menu, there is a line that says “Allow participants to:” Underneath this, you will see the word “Share Screen” Click on these words to remove the check mark near this option. This setting will save automatically.
