Once you have started your Zoom meeting, locate the polling button when you are ready to launch your poll. This button looks like three bars and says “polling” below it. If you do not see this button immediately, it may be under your “more” button
When you click on the poll button, you will see a screen pop up where you can enter the title of the poll, questions, and answers. Each poll can hold up to 10 questions. You can also select if you want the poll to be answered anonymously by checking the box under the title.
To add more questions, click the button that says “+ Add a Question”
If you want students to be able to select only one answer, click on the bubble that says “single choice”
If you want students to be able to select multiple answers, click the bubble that says “multiple choice”.
When you have entered all the questions and answers you want, click the button that says “launch poll” in the bottom of the polling screen.
Once all responses have been collected, you can end the poll by clicking the polling button on your screen then clicking the “end poll” button.
Once you end the poll, you can either download the results, share the results with all students, or close the polling all together.
If you want to send the same poll, you will have to click the polling button and then “relaunch poll”
If you want to send a new poll, click on the polling button in your Zoom then click the edit button in the top right of your poll. Here you can change the questions and answers. You can then repeat the launch poll steps.
