1. In order to remove a participant from a meeting, once you have started your Zoom meeting, hover over the participant’s video that you would like to remove.

2. On the top right corner of the participant’s video you will see a blue button with three dots. Click on this button.

3. A menu will appear. On this menu click the option that says “remove participant” this will fully remove the participant from your Zoom meeting. This can also be done by going to the participant list, clicking more next to the participant name and clicking “Remove” from the menu that appears

Please note: If you remove a participant, they are able to rejoin. If you put a participant on hold, they are still in the meeting but cannot see or hear anything that is happening, but all other participants can both see and hear what is going on. Only the host will know if a participant is on hold.
