Georgetown covers a licensed Zoom subscription for each member of the Georgetown community thorugh your Georgetown email address. For Faculty and TAs, in order for your classes to recognize you as the host and for you to have access to all of the Zoom features, you will need to be signed into Zoom (either on the app or on the website) using your Georgetown issued account. The steps for how to access your Georgetown University Zoom account are as follows:
Go to Zoom.us in the browser of your choice
Click the button in the top right corner that says "Sign up, it's Free!"
When it prompts you for an email address, enter your Georgetown University email address and press submit. You should receive a pop up that tells you to check your email.
Go to your email and follow the prompts from the Zoom email to complete your set up and to join the organization.
You will be prompted to enter your password. Do this and make sure all other information you want set up shows on this screen.
Once you have completed this, submit this page and you will be all set with your Georgetown University Zoom account
Remember to log in using your Georgetown email and the Password you set up in the Zoom screen to log into your Zoom account.
