What is ePass?

Whilst you are at college you have the opportunity to complete your EPASS.

ePASS is an employability skills platform developed by the college which provides you as a learner the opportunity to develop and record your employability progression to help you into your career and best next steps for you!

working through ePASS you will be asked to reflect on the skills you have developed, this will help you to explain these to employers when you go for interviews and help you to understand how you put these skills into practice.

What are the key skills of ePASS?

The 5 key core skills you will develop whilst working through ePASS are:

2. Team Work & Communication

3. Leadership

4. Self management

5. positive work ethic

Each of these key skills have a set of employability subskills which make these up, throughout this page you will be able to learn more about each one and why they are important for you to develop for your future career.

Employability skills are transferable skills that are useful in nearly every job and daily life. Employers put a lot of importance on employability skills because they are much harder to teach than job-specific skills.
