Dr. Ann Addison serves as the Director of Teacher Induction and University Partnerships for the Olathe School District in Olathe, Kansas. In this role, she builds strong collaborations with universities to place aspiring educators in the classrooms of expert mentor teachers. Dr. Addison leads the district’s comprehensive teacher induction program, providing strategic support and professional development to new educators as they begin their careers.
At the heart of her work is a dedicated team of instructional coaches—whom she trains and mentors—ensuring that every new teacher in the district receives high-quality, hands-on guidance from day one. Her leadership helps shape a culture of continuous growth and instructional excellence across the district.
Before stepping into district leadership, Dr. Addison brought her passion for student success to life as an elementary classroom teacher and instructional coach. Her career reflects a deep commitment to nurturing both students and educators, and to building strong, sustainable pathways into the teaching profession.

Kaitlyn Just is a dedicated K–12 educator currently holding a Bachelor of Science in English, with nine years of classroom experience. Throughout her career, Kaitlyn has taught ninth grade ELA, junior and junior honors ELA, and four years of the AVID elective, and has been actively involved in mentoring aspiring teachers for eight years. As a mentor, she is passionate about supporting the next generation of educators by sharing practical strategies, fostering reflective practice, and helping future teachers navigate the rewards and challenges of the classroom.

Jessica Madinger is a veteran educator with seventeen years of experience in secondary and college classrooms. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Arts in English. Her teaching background spans grades 9–12 English Language Arts; electives such as forensics, theater, creative writing, and film analysis; and college-level courses in composition, interpersonal communication, and public speaking. Though new to mentoring, she has guided two interns in the past year. Having felt the challenge of rural teacher shortages, Jessica is dedicated to developing and retaining quality educators by equipping them with practical strategies, modeling effective classroom management, and encouraging reflective growth.

Meredith Knapp is a K-12 educator holding a Bachelor of Music Performance and a Master of Music, with 19 years of classroom experience. Throughout her career, Meredith has taught K-5 elementary general music and beginning orchestra at Emporia Public Schools, and the elementary music methods course at Emporia State University. She has been actively involved in mentoring preservice and first year teachers for 13 years. As a mentor, Meredith is passionate about supporting the next generation of educators through sharing practical ways to navigate music curriculum, making abstract music concepts accessible to elementary students, and encouraging them to be the strongest beginning teachers they can be.
