ストックチェック/Stock Check

• 2週間に1度，グローブや基板などよく使うものの在庫の確認を行います．3人程度のメンバーが1月に割り当てられるので，メンバー間でスケジュールを合わせて第1週と第3週に行ってください．チェックする箇所は様々あるので，手分けしてやるようにしてください．割り当てはlab meetingスケジュールに記載してあります。．

• 3-4 members are assigned as persons in charge for each month. They check consumable stocks, gas cylinders, and waste liquid tanks twice a month, on the first and the third week. Please discuss members about the schedule of stock check and divide the tasks.

1. 洗浄瓶に液体が入っていないとき / When there is no solvent in the wash bottle
   蓋を開けてボトルにあった液体を補充する．蒸留水はペットボトルに，有機溶媒は前室のグローブボックスの下の鉄製の棚の大きな瓶の中にある．アセトン、エタノール、IPAの3Lの瓶が空になった場合、たいていの場合は屋外の薬品庫にストックがある。また、蒸留水もたいていの場合、別の部屋にストックがあるため、まずは渡辺さんに確認する。

Open the lid and refill the bottles with the liquid. The distilled water is in plastic bottles and the organic solvents are in large glass bottles in a chemical cabinet under the glove box in the front room. When 3L bottles of acetone, ethanol, and IPA are empty, you can usually find a stock in the outdoor chemical storage. Distilled water is also usually stocked in another room, so ask Watanabe-san first before placing an order.

2. 廃液タンクが100%(タンクの線)のとき / When the liquid waste tank is at 100% (above the line)
   廃液タンクがいっぱいですと渡辺さんに伝える．タンクを交換してくださいと言われた場合は満杯のタンクを渡辺さんに指定された場所に置き，いっぱいのタンクについているタグをとる(張り紙はとらない)．空のタンクは前室のドラフトチャンバーの向かって左手の上のほうにあるので，貼ってある紙をよく見て同じ廃液を入れてよいタンクを元あった場所に置き，タグを取り付ける．線を少しでも超えていると回収してくれないので，線(100%)を越えていた場合には空のタンクに廃液を移す（渡辺さんにやっていただいている）．廃液は体積ではなくタンクの個数により処理費用が徴収されているので，線を越えていなければ問題ない．

Tell Watanabe-san that the liquid waste tank is full. When asked to replace the tank, place the full tank at the location specified by Watanabe-san and take off the tag attached to the full tank (do not take off the tag). The empty tank is located on the upper left-hand side of the draft chamber in the front room. If the waste liquid exceeds the line (100%), it will be transferred to an empty tank (Watanabe-san usually does this for us). The cost of liquid waste disposal is based on the number of tanks, not on the volume, so there is no problem if it is not over the line.

3. ガスシリンダーが空のとき / When gas cylinder is empty
   前回の圧力と比較して著しく低下している場合には，H型ハンドルコックでボンベを開封した後に圧力を確認する．圧力が0MPaに近いときには，渡辺さんに伝えてどのボンベと交換すればよいかを聞き，ボンベ庫の鍵をもらう．ボンベは非常に重いので，慣れないうちは経験者と一緒にやる．空になったボンベをボンベキャリアを使って運ぶ．ボンベ庫は地下実験室の扉に向かって左側の屋外に出て左側にある．ボンベ庫の鍵を開け，渡辺さんに指示されたボンベと空のボンベのガス組成が同じことを確認し，入れ替える．新しいボンベについているタグをとる．新しいボンベを装置に装着する．なお、2022年から大半のボンベでは無料貸し出し期間（1年）を超えると毎月課金されるようになり、ボンベの在庫を抱えにくくなっている。そのため、ボンベが完全に空になる前に余裕をもって（例えば、1次圧が0.5MPaを下回ったら）ストックチェックの際に交換する。

If the pressure is significantly lower than the previous pressure, check the pressure after opening the cylinder with the H-type handlecock. If the pressure is close to 0 MPa, tell Watanabe-san which cylinder to exchange and ask him for the key to the cylinder cabinet. Cylinders are very heavy, so if you are not used to using them, work with an experienced operator. Empty cylinders are carried using a cylinder carrier. The cylinder cabinet is located on the left side of the basement laboratory door. Unlock the cylinder cabinet, check that the gas composition of the empty cylinder is the same as that of the cylinder directed by Watanabe-san, and replace the empty cylinder with the new one. Remove the tag from the new cylinder. Attach the new cylinder to the device. Note that since 2022, we have to pay montly rental fees for (most of)  the cylinders that have been kept >1 year in the lab, and it becomes more difficult than before to keep cylinders in stock. So, cylinders should be replaced during stock checks in advance (e.g., when the primary pressure drops below 0.5 MPa) before they get completely empty.

4. よく使う物品がないとき  /  When the remaining amount of common supplies and chemicals is small
   物品の在庫がチェックシートに書かれている既定の量より少ない時には，代理店に注文する必要がある．有機溶媒は薬品庫に在庫があることが多いので，渡辺さんに在庫の確認をし，ないなら高長に注文，あるなら薬品庫の鍵をもらって渡辺さんから指示された番号の瓶を持っていく(薬品登録が済んでいるか渡辺さんに確認）．薬品庫は地下実験室の扉に向かって左側の屋外に出て右側にある．空の瓶はふたを開けてドラフトチャンバーの中に置き，乾かす．乾いたらラベルをはがして所定の位置に置く。バーコードを渡辺さんに渡す。

When the stock of supplies is less than the default quantity indicated on the checklist, you need to order them. Since organic solvents are usually stocked in the chemical storeroom, ask Watanabe-san if we keep them in stock. If they are not in stock, order them from Takacho. If they are in stock, get a key to the chemical storeroom from Watanabe-san and take the bottles with the indicated numbers. The chemical storage is located on the left side of the basement laboratory door. Place the empty bottles in the draft chamber with the lids open to dry. After drying them, remove the labels and put the bottles at the designated place until the cleanup day. Give the barcode sticker to Watanabe-san.

5. 基板がない場合 / When the remaining number of substrates is small
   大塚に相談する．Ask Otsuka.

Orders

• ストックチェックで不足しているCommon suppliesがあったらeメールで代理店に注文．

• 薬品は高長．消耗品類は大成理化．

• Slackの #orderingチャンネルに発注内容をコメントし，スタッフ（丸山先生，千足先生，大塚先生，渡辺さん）に承認を貰ってから発注して下さい．

• Chemicals --> Takacho

• Consumable supplies --> Taisei-rika

• Contact with lab staffs (Chashi-sensei, Otsuka, Watanabe-san, and so on) before placing order.

粗大ごみの捨て方

• 鈴木研の実験室の横を通って外に出て裏から回り，地下一階の実験室の入って左奥の外にある机の上に置いておくと渡辺さんが回収してくれる．
