Engagement / Non Worker Communication
Non workers are students who have not submitted work in the last 7 days. Once a student has not submitted work for 7 days, they turn "red" on your VSA dashboard. It is important to contact non workers each week to ensure they get back on track.
Here are a few tips to help as you reach out weekly:
CALL your students each week who did not submit
Parents should be called in weeks 2 and 3 (starting after 7 days of no work)
Send no work text to student (as follow-up or if you do not reach them on the phone)
Send no work text to student AND parent as a group in week two (so everyone is communicated to)
Set-up a call schedule and stick to it each week if the student is an inconsistent worker!
