Senior Showcase All Star Game for these two; both were selected as All- Region players as well!
What an incredible day for the First Academy Swim Team at State! Our athletes showed up, raced hard, and represented First Academy with heart and determination, and the results speak for themselves:
Girls Varsity Freestyle Relay Finished 6th place - Reese Fender, Kezney Kashula, Avary Layne Leavens, Johanna Merritt
Livi Leavens placed 4th in the JV 50-yard Breaststroke
Avary Layne Leavens placed 7th in the JV 50-yard Backstroke
Seth Hope placed 6th in the Varsity 200-yard Freestyle
On top of those finishes, we had multiple swimmers achieve personal best times, which is always a huge win at the state level. So proud of this team, their coaches, and the hard work that led to an amazing state meet. Way to go, Lions!
Senior Night at First Academy was unforgetable. Our lions closed out their last home basketball game surrounded by family, friends, and a gym full of love, and ended the night with a WIN!
We were honored to celebrate not only our senoir basketball players, but also our senior cheerleaders, who have brought energy, spirit, and heart to every game. From the court to the sidelines, these seniors have shown what it means to lead, serve, and represent First Academy with pride.
Thank you for the early mornings, long nights, sacerfices, and memories you've given this community. Your impact will be felt long after the final buzzer sounds.
The FA Swim Team finished up its regular season Saturday in Warner Robins. Every single swimmer has personal bests at this meet and cut significant time. We are finishing the season strong this week and will be traveling to Canton, GA, for the state meet on Saturday. Go Lions!
Jackson has swum for FA since we started our program in 2021. Jackson has been such a joy to coach and watch him improve each year. He will be greatly missed!

Last week, our Lion's Cheerleaders hosted a mini cheer camp for grades K-5th. During this cheer camp, our mini cheerleaders learned a dance and two cheers: "The Best" and "Game Day." At the end of the week, the mini cheerleaders performed their routine alongside our Lion's Cheerleaders at the varsity basketball game. Good job to our mini cheer team and our Lion's Cheerleaders!
