1st grade was learning about how we are all created in God's image.
Martin Luther's "95 Theses"
We learned about the Protestant Reformation all week in class, ending the week with a Reformation Day party with a snack including a diet of (gummy) worms and a small hammer (marshmellow and prezels). We created our own printing press after Johannes Gutenberg and talked about William Tyndale's first English Translation of the Bible. Then, we wrote our own "95 Theses" on the door of the Bible class to commemorate Martin Luther's act in 1517.
