It snowed at FA in Mrs. Beverly and Mrs. Katherine's three-year-old class. Students really enjoyed using South Georgia snow (shaving cream) and writing letters, numerals, and some even wrote their names. The children listened to the story, "What Snowmen Do at Night", and created their own nighttime mischievous snowmen. The highlight was eating snow sticks for snacks. Thank you FA and volunteers for helping!

🦃November🫑
Mrs. Beverly’s class was learning about blessings, and the first Thanksgiving with the Pilgrims and Indians. While they learned about this, they learned about sharing with others, so they can be kind to each other while they learn. Other things they learned about were the letter “G”, the color brown, and the triangle. While I was visiting, the kids were having snack time while learning about Jesus healing people.
Mrs. Danielle’s class was learning how to spell and write their name. When they finished, they glued little leaves to their names to make them festive for fall. They even did little thumbprint acorns where they put brown paint on their thumb to make an acorn. While Mrs. Amanda's class was learning about the Bible story manna, the letter “G”, and triangles.
This is the acorn project that Mrs Danielle's class was working on.
While the kids waited for their name to be called they played around and shared with each other.

7th Grade Reading Buddies! 10.30.25
On October 30, 2025, our 7th-grade students went to Mrs. Beverly's 3-year-old class and read books to the little children. 📚 The children had a wonderful time. 😁
Mrs. Amanda and Mrs. Mary's Class had the best time yesterday learning about farm animals! The kids had so much fun "milking the cow" and discovering what life is like on the farm. It was such a hands-on learning day!🐄🐮
The three-year-olds did some apple picking, while learning to count in the process.

This week, September 22 through 26, Mrs. Beverly’s 3-year-old class has been learning about the letter T and the sound it makes. On Tuesday, September 23, they had a Teddy Bear Tea Party at 9:30 am. The children brought their teddy bear, turtle, or tiger stuffed animals. They ate foods that started with the letter T. They had Tim Tams (a chocolate biscuit from Australia), tarts, tangerines designed to look like teddy bears, Teddy Grahams, Twix, Tootsie Rolls, Turkey, trail mix, teafills, Twizzlers, Trix cereal, and Triscuits.
They started by watching a video about tea parties while the teachers set the children’s plates. After the video ended and the plates were set, Mrs. Beverly talked to the children about their teddy bears. All of the stuffed animals were placed on a table in the side of the room. Mrs. Beverly picked up each stuffed animal and asked the students to get theirs and say its name. Dawson’s teddy bear is named Kaden, Jack’s teddy bear sings Happy Birthday, Ophelia’s stuffed animal is named Leah, Ellie has a tiger named Pounce, Kaden has a Sonic stuffed toy, Stevie has a pink bear named Pink Singer, Florence’s stuffed animal is named Kayla, and Annalynn’s stuffed animal is named Ruby. Annalynn’s mother made a beautiful dress and a matching bow for the teddy bear, Ruby!
After the children got their pictures taken, they grabbed their water bottles and sat down at their tables. Mrs. Beverly explained all of the letter T food items, and the children began to eat. I went around to each of the children and asked for their name, their stuffed animal’s name, and their favorite T food. Some kids were shy, while others wanted to talk about everything! I'm not sure that each of them had a favorite food; they enjoyed everything and changed their answer multiple times. Dawson’s, Maizie’s, and Izzy’s favorite foods were all of the chocolate items. Ophelia’s favorite was the Twix, Ellie’s favorite was the teafills, and Chandler’s favorite was the tangerine.
In the end, I know that every child (including me) enjoyed the Teddy Bear Tea Party very much! Mrs. Beverly and Ms. Katherine both did an amazing job teaching the 3-year-olds about the letter T, and they are so good to their students. It was awesome to see each child’s creativity in naming their stuffed animals, and their sweet personalities were very charming! I am glad I got the chance to talk to such delightful children.
