We are happy to say our yearly Grandparents Day went well. We were happy that y'all were able to come and participate in our chapel service. Thank you, grandparents, for joining us in chapel.Ā

Elementary Grandparents Day
Grandparents Day at chapel for our elementary grades was truly such a special and heartwarming time. It was wonderful to see so many grandparents filling the seats, smiling proudly, and sharing the morning with their grandchildren. The students were so excited to show them their school, sit beside them during chapel, and sing and participate together. You could feel the love and joy in the room as families laughed, hugged, and enjoyed simply being together.
It meant so much to everyone to look out and see such a large crowd of supportive grandparents who took time out of their day to be there. Moments like these remind us how important family encouragement is in a childās life. The smiles on both the studentsā and grandparentsā faces made the event unforgettable, and it was clear that the morning created memories that will be cherished for a long time. We are so grateful for everyone who came and helped make the day so meaningful.

I interviewed some people to find out why chapel matters at school. Well, I interviewed Camden Roundtree. He said, āChapel matters because it allows all of us students to learn the Bible and Godās word. Instead of just hearing the word once a week, it allows us to learn the word two days a week, not just one, and that helps us get a better relationship with God.ā
I interviewed Callie Dockery and asked her why chapel matters to her. She said, āChapel matters to me because it brings pastors in from all over Coffee County. They give us thoughtful sermons, and I enjoy them very much.ā Chapel is significant, and it helps you get closer to God.
