The Replication Shop is responsible for the production of replications to be used in exhibitions. This covers a wide range of applications including, but not limited to: touchables, interactives, dioramas, facsimiles, and reproductions. The Rep Shop has the capability to implement many processes to produce a final product. Some of these include, mold making, casting, sculpting, and painting.

Open a conversation about purpose, possibilities, processes, and budget for replications. Allows replication shop staff to contribute ideas and propose realistic solutions. Allows Production Supervisor to gather information to prepare cost estimates for Reality Check 1.

Info packets provide detailed scientific references for all important aspects of a replication. The "delivery" milestone is a check-in to review the packet and discuss the process, reviews needed, and any outstanding questions.

Exhibition Developer to create an "info packet" for each replication. This is a document that contains approved scientific information that the producers can reference to create the replication. It will usually include:
Physical information like size, scale, color, and texture

This phase of the process varies greatly depending on the replication. Process, check-ins, and milestones will be established in the Delivery of Info Packets meeting and/or in subsequent discussions. Fabrication normally begins during Phase 4: Production after the project's Review milestone.
