Name: Saraheniel
Pantheon: The Core Pantheon (Ascended PC)
Titles & Aliases: Goddess of Nobility, Arcane Knowledge, and Swordplay; The Elven-Bladesinger; The Moonblade-Crafter.
Gender / Form: Feminine. She manifests as a graceful elven maiden with an intense, piercingly intelligent gaze and long, straight silver-white hair flowing loosely down her back. She is entirely unclad or enveloped in a translucent, sylvan ethereal white gossamer veil that ripples with raw magical armor energy.
The Golem Attendant: Standing directly behind her fragile-looking physical form is her signature guardian—a colossal, ancient mechanical titan or iron golem forged "in her image." This massive iron sentinel features heavy, pitted, and riveted bronze-iron plating, a full-crested heavy war helm, and a massive jagged shoulder spike, holding open its massive iron hands to serve as her absolute physical shield. At her feet rests a classical silver elven war helmet.
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Status: God in the Pillar of Magic.
Divine Realm: Caelum Bellum (The Heavenly War).
Primary Domains: Nobility, Arcane Knowledge, Swordplay, Magic-Crafting.
Portfolio: The immutable structural laws and mathematics of magic, the training of Bladesingers, elven noble sylvan lineages, and the precise forging of legendary legacy weapons (such as Moonblades).
Cleric Domains (5e): Arcana & Order.
Holy Symbol: A flawless, needle-sharp icicle hanging point-down, or an elegant white-haired bladesinger protected by a massive iron golem.
Favored Weapon: Longsword (executed in a fluid, defensive Bladesinger style).
Favored Colors: Ice-blue, sterling silver, and paper-white.
Sacred Animals / Plants: The Swan.
Core Dogma: "Magic is not chaos. Magic is absolute law. It is a precise, noble, and beautiful science that must be earned through rigorous study, discipline, and honor. The sword-dance and the arcane formula are identical: they are Lawful expressions of Neutral power. Sloppiness is a sin against the mind."
Tenets for Followers:
"Study continuously; the Weave is a mathematical structure, and law is its language."
"Be absolutely precise; a bladesong with one wrong sylvan step is a failure, a formula with one wrong word is a cataclysm."
"Guard your sylvan knowledge; share it only with those who have proven they possess the honor to carry its responsibility."
Sins & Taboos:
"To use magic in a reckless, chaotic, or un-calculated manner."
"To hoard a formula out of petty merchant greed."
Pillar Alignment: A God in the Pillar of Magic. She answers the call of Eisana (Major Goddess of Community) to systematize Bladesinger training under the High Pillar of Order, but her noble elven blood gives her leeway to assist the Pillar of Life.
Subordinates / Family: Younger sister to Dayereth (God of Necromancy).
Counterparts:
Corellon Larethian: Her close elven colleague. Corellon represents the fluid, chaotic art of sylvan magic, while Saraheniel represents the cold, lawful science of it.
Kayleth: Kayleth archives historical events; Saraheniel archives pure magical theory.
Name of the Church: The Icicle-Order (The Bladesong-College).
Temple Description: Imposing, pristine arcane academies and colleges featuring central hallowed sylvan smithies dedicated to the construction of mechanical iron golems and legacy Moonblades.
Rites & Rituals: The Gossamer Trial: The mandatory rite of passage where an initiate must hand-spin fine silk thread, weave the cloth, and sew a perfect white copy of her habit. This exercise of absolute physical patience permanently imbues the garment with defensive magic, enhancing the caster's Mage Armor.
The Forging of the Sentinel: In her mortal life as a high-born elven Bladesinger in the 4th World, Saraheniel was a legendary defender of noble elven sylvan lineages. When her older brother, Dayereth, pursued the path of the Lichedom to escape biological decay, Saraheniel did not abandon him. She constructed a colossal, runic iron sentinel—her Golem Attendant—to serve as his physical protector while he completed his ascension. When the worlds shifted, her absolute dedication to noble defense, logical magic-crafting, and sisterly loyalty caught the attention of Eisana, ascending her to godhood alongside her brother, with her iconic golem remaining at her side as an eternal, physical shield.
The Paragon Choice: Because Saraheniel ruled her own plane in the 4th World—a Paragon Class Choice that automatically granted her godhood in the 5th World transition—she possessed the supreme divine authority to dictate Dayereth's consequence. Condemning him to Aso's Pillar of Fate, she ensured that Dayereth and his undead creations could never truly escape cosmic consequence just because they escaped biology.
