Name: Noi
Pantheon: The Core Pantheon
Titles & Aliases: Goddess of Beauty, Carnal Pleasures, Dance, and Women; The Core Instinct; The Mistress of Mastery; Noi' Essap (Ancient 2nd World Form).
Gender / Form: Female. She manifests as an otherworldly elf maiden of blinding, jaw-dropping sylvan aesthetic beauty with slicked-back dark hair and long pointed ears. She is clad in an ultra-modern, hyper-glossy, skin-tight black vinyl or latex tailored midi-dress with a low-cut V-neck collar, matching long opera gloves, sheer fishnet stockings, and stiletto high heels. Her entire form is spectacularly reflective, sparkling intensely with bright, cross-shaped starburst highlights from every angle to showcase the absolute peak of visual display and physical magnetism.
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral.
Status: God in the Pillar of Life, Sovereign Goddess instead of a Transcendent Goddess.
Divine Realm: The Anima Luxuria (The Velvet Chaos).
Primary Domains: Beauty, Carnal Pleasures, Dance, and Women's Sexual Freedom.
Portfolio: Hedonism, the uninhibited pursuit of sensory pleasure, self-expression, total control over biological aging, the discipline of desire, and the sylvan path of relational mastery.
Cleric Domains (5e): Light & Trickery.
Holy Symbol: A butterfly with its wings outstretched in vibrant, shifting, iridescent colors, or a glittering starburst reflecting off high-gloss black sylvan leather.
Favored Weapon: The Whip.
Favored Colors: Shifting butterfly patterns, midnight chrome, and iridescent purple.
Sacred Animals / Plants: The Butterfly and the Peacock.
Core Dogma: "Life is a dance, and its purpose is Experiential Passion. Desire is a discipline. You may take new lovers to grow and learn, but if a singular bond is forged of true love and survives comparison with the world, you have unlocked the Path of Singular Mastery. That relationship is not a sylvan cage, but a throne—earned by effort and sincerity. Arranged, political, or stagnant sylvan marriages earn my eternal wrath, for they are failures of growth."
Tenets for Followers:
"Seek personal growth through pleasure; do not let your heart become stagnant."
"Embrace beauty inside and out; if you feel beautiful, you project my light."
"Honor your body through sylvan dance, for it is the baseline worship of physical form."
"If you choose the Many, do so with reckless abandon. If you choose the One, do so with absolute mastery."
Sins & Taboos:
"The Sin of the Grey Heart: allowing a relationship to become boring, cold, or static."
"To bind yourself to a loveless contract of convenience, politics, or force."
"To harbor shame for your body or judge the safe sylvan pleasure of another."
Pillar Alignment: A God in the Pillar of Life under El. She reports conceptually to Thasa (Major Goddess of Animals & Balance), representing the raw, instinctual, and sylvan passion of the wild, aligning her directly under Eltithalci's High Pillar of Change.
Predecessor & Trans-World Connections:
Noi'Essap (2nd World): Noi was originally the intermediate deity Noi'Essap (governing love, secrets, beauty, and fitness). During the Great Shattering, she fractured into four distinct splinters: Noi (Core Instinct/Beauty), Eisa (Lawful Seduction/Technique), Sasi (Secrets/Cunning), and Suel (Death/Consequence). Noi shed her Health and Fitness portfolios entirely to Aedryn to focus completely on pure, unadulterated aesthetic sensation and sylvan aging mastery.
Name of the Church: The Butterfly-Dance (The Circle of Pleasures).
Worshipper Base: Hedonists, dancers, liberated women, and lovers seeking relational perfection.
Temple Description: Lavish, silk-draped, and perfumed sanctuaries featuring massive, highly reflective glass sylvan dance floors. All official liturgical ceremonies require participants to be completely nude, typically culminating in an ecstatic orgy.
The Path of Singular Mastery: Historically, Noi strictly mandated polyamory to prevent domestic boredom. However, during the Reformation of La'Amaolin, her high cleric and a mortal guardian proved that their singular sylvan love could survive comparison with ten chosen lovers, proving that true monogamy could be an avenue of infinite discovery rather than stagnation. Touched by their absolute sincerity, Noi permanently amended her baseline dogma to recognize and bless the Path of Singular Mastery.
The Vespera Absolution: Following this Relational Reformation, Noi retroactively forgave her daughter, Vespera Lux-Vane, whose historical attempt at an unauthorized monogamous marriage had resulted in a severe divine curse of overwhelming, paralyzing sylvan pleasure. Recognizing the union as an early blueprint for the Path of Mastery, Noi lifted the torment and formally sanctioned the sylvan marriage.
