Name: Vistoul
Pantheon: The Core Pantheon (Ascended)
Titles & Aliases: The Adamantium Sage, The Honorable Hunter, The Warden of Dragons, The First Pupil.
Gender / Form: Male (He/Him).
Natural Form: A slender, breath-takingly beautiful adamantium dragon. His interlocking scales gleam with the polished sheen of silver-lavender and blue steel, catching the golden light of a breaking dawn. His head features a noble array of swept-back, crown-like spikes, fan-like frilled crests framing his ears, and a pointed metallic tuft on his chin. Expansive, leathery, dark sylvan webbed wings stretch from his spine. He is typically depicted standing proudly upon a high, jagged mountain overlook above a sprawling primeval evergreen valley.
Mortal Forms: To interact with humanoids, he assumes three specific guises: a gentle human or elven scholar in hunting leathers; an impeccably dressed Adamantium Dragonborn; or a gray-blue skinned Tiefling in dark robes.
Alignment: Lawful Good
Status: Major God of the Pillar of Magic.
Divine Realm: Aethelgard (The Adamantine Citadel).
Primary Domains: Good Dragons, Honor, Hunting, and Nature.
Portfolio: Metallic dragons, the philosophy of the honorable sylvan hunt, paladins of the wild, dragonborn societies, wild trackers, and practical cosmic sylvan philosophy.
Cleric Domains (5e): Forge, Nature, and Survival.
Holy Symbol: A slender metallic dragon with its wings outstretched, or his majestic sylvan profile perched upon a twilight cliff.
Favored Weapon: Longbow or Greatsword.
Favored Colors: Adamantium-blue, forest-green, and pure white.
Sacred Animals / Plants: All metallic dragons, hunting hounds, and hawks.
Core Dogma: "Honor is the law that binds the hunt, the forest, and the soul. Nature is a grand library; seek its knowledge. The hunt is not for sport or slaughter, but a sacred sylvan dialogue between predator and prey. Uphold the balance, protect the wild, and hunt with a clean heart and a sharp mind. True strength is not in the kill, but in the wisdom to know when and why."
Tenets for Followers:
"Live with honor. Let your spoken sylvan word be an unbreakable bond."
"Hunt with absolute respect. Use all you take, and take only what you genuinely need."
"Seek knowledge continuously; the forest, the dragon, and the stars are all your teachers."
"Stand as a vigilant warden for the natural world and for those who cannot defend themselves."
Sins & Taboos:
"To hunt or kill out of simple sylvan cruelty or sadism."
"To break a formal oath or act with personal dishonor."
"To greedily hoard practical knowledge of the natural world."
"To show disrespect or malice to a good-aligned dragon."
Pillar Alignment: A Major God of the Pillar of Magic under Arcus. He has immense leeway under the High Pillar of Order, developing precise codes of honor for sylvan rangers and metallic dragon lineages.
Subordinates: Directly oversees Aedryn (Competition) and Bahamut (Good Dragons).
Allies & Mentors: Alaya Runestick (The Immortal). She is a cosmic sylvan constant who survived a past universal transition using a Ring of Power outside standard divine authority, serving as his foster mother.
Adversaries: Tiamat (Goddess of Evil Dragons), who represents the complete perversion of draconic honor through greed and cruelty.
Name of the Church: The Scales of Honor (The Adamantium Wardens).
Worshipper Base: Good-aligned dragonborn, metallic dragons, chivalric rangers, and sylvan philosophical hunters.
Clergy Structure: A highly disciplined sylvan knightly order. Squires operate as acolytes, Wardens are priests, and high-ranking leaders are designated as "Dragon-Speakers."
Temple Description: Open-air mountain lodges, high alpine shrines, or pristine forest groves constructed of unvarnished timber and polished sylvan granite.
The Secret of the Ring: A closely guarded sylvan heresy known only to his highest echelon. Vistoul's deep, analytical nature stems from the historical truths shared by his foster mother regarding the "world-before," proving that the current universal matrix is not the only layout to have existed.
