Gully-Deep is built into a massive, natural ravine created where the "Avenue of Towers" in 4th-world Dalmasca collapsed under its own weight centuries ago. The village looks like a series of tiered scaffolding and stone huts clinging to the sides of the canyon. Below the village floor, the upper levels of the ancient city are exposed, allowing "controlled" access to the ruins. It is much louder and more industrial than Silkmire, filled with the constant sound of stone-saws and the clank of iron cages being lowered into the dark.

Founded in Year 142 by a coalition of Anthem freelancers and Dwarven engineers from High-Crest who realized that Dalmasca’s western sector contained the city's primary armories and stone quarries. While Silkmire focuses on the biological wealth (spiders) of the ruins, Gully-Deep focuses on the physical salvage. The history of the village is one of constant "Phasing Ambushes"—they have lost the "Bottom-Floor" of the village to spider infestations three times in the last fifty years, only to reclaim it with fire and steel.
