Upcoming Dates

We had a wonderful school-wide Winter Party on the last day before break! All of the classrooms hosted activities including: ornament making, watercolor painting, winter bingo, holiday trivia, board games, origami, a photo booth, snowball toss, face painting, and temporary tattoos. Then, after a recess break, we returned to our classroom for special snacks and a movie.

We had some fun painting penguins and holiday trees!

Even with the all of the holiday excitement, we still continued learning in our literacy groups. Here's some students working on digraphs and sentence writing.

We added some special holiday sentence starters in our writing journals. I have been wearing my goofy holiday sweaters all week so we created drawings of some sweaters in our notebooks for one of our prompts.
