Our math program is very game and activity based so teacher complete observations, quick jots, and listen to student conversations and out loud thinking to see how skills are developing.

Every trimester students are individually assessed on a set of skills that have been learned and practiced during math instruction. In kindergarten, most math assessments are done verbally with math tools available. Some assessments, such as number writing, are written and kept in the student's portfolio. 

Every trimester students are graded on a rubric that is shared with parents and on report cards.
