Note: JPGs can be converted either as single images or combined as a group, as seen below.
Open your Documents folder (Note: items should be stored on your local computer or external hard drive and not on the campus server for this to work correctly)
Navigate to your Pictures
Select the image you want to convert
Right-click on the image
5. Choose “Convert to Adobe PDF”
6. Your file will open in Adobe Acrobat
7. Click File
8. Click Save as
9. Choose a location
10. Keep or change the file name
11. Save as Type should already show “Adobe PDF Files (*.pdf)”
12. Click Save
NOTE: To save multiple files individually, select more than one file and then follow the above directions.
Note: These directions will combine multiple files into one.

Select the images you want to convert
Right-click on any of the images
Click Combine Files in Acrobat
6. Files will open in Acrobat on the Combine Files screen
7. Click Combine, the blue button located in the upper right corner of the screen
8. Your pictures will be combined into 1 file
9. Click File
10. Click Save as
11. Choose a location
12. Keep or change the file name
13. Save as Type should already show “Adobe PDF Files (*.pdf)”
14. Click Save
Note: Mac has a variety of options to convert JPGs, but only MAC Window Finder & Mac Preview (single & multiple)are listed below.
Click the Finder icon in the "Dock"
Click on the image(s)
Note: The image(s) appear in the PDF in the same order you select them.
Control-click the selected files
Choose Quick Actions
Click Create PDF
The file is created automatically with a name similar to the first file you selected.
Find the JPG
Double-click (or right click) on the image to open
Click File in the Preview menu
Click Export as PDF....
5. In the pop-up menu, change the file name (if desired)
6. Choose a destination folder
7. Click Save
Note: These directions will combine multiple images into one file
Find the first JPG
Double-click (or right click) on the image to open it in the Preview Menu
Open the Preview sidebar, which will open on the left side of the screen
Click View
(Optional access: Click on the “little screen” icon and then click on the down arrow)
Click on Thumbnails
4. Click, drag, & drop as many images as needed to the sidebar
Note: you should see a green dot with a white cross just before dropping the image in the sidebar
5. Highlight all images in the sidebar
6. Click File
7. Click Print (do not click on “export
as a pdf”)
8. Click the down arrow next to “PDF”,
located at the bottom of the screen
9. Click Save as a PDF
Highlight & replace filename in the “Save as” field
Choose location to store PDF
Highlight & replace name in the “Title” field
Ignore the author, subject, and keywords unless you choose to fill them out
Click Save
Close the Preview menu
Open the PDF you just created to check it out.
