How to embed a Spotify Link

You can easily give people access to the music you are writing about by adding a link to the music in Spotify.

If you have an account you can either share a link to the album or embed a player.

If you don't have a Spotify account, you can still share a link to an album or playlist.


Steps for sharing a link:

1. Go to Spotify in a web browser.

2. Login if you have an account.

3. Click in the search box

4. Type in the artist you want to share

5. Hit "Return"

6. Click on the album or playlist you want to share.

7. Near the album cover, you should see buttons for "Play" and "Save to your library." To the right of those you should see three dots:

8. Click on the three dots

9. Select "Copy album link"

10. The link is now copied to the clipboard and you can paste it on your webpage.

Steps to Embedding a Spotify Playlist


In order to embed a playlist you or someone else created, you need to have a Spotify account. You can sign up for a free one.


Steps for sharing a link:

1. You will need to download the Spotify application to the computer. You can do that by going here.

2. Once downloaded and installed, you can open Spotify and search for a playlist.

3. Once you find a playlist or create your own, you can embed the playlist on your page.

4. Hold down "control" and click on the play list picture.

5. Click on "Share"

6. Click on "Embed Code"

7. Go back to your google webpage

8. Click on Insert in the right-hand side panel

9. Click on "Embed"

10. You will see the box below:

11. Click on "Embed Code"

12. Click in the purple box.

13. Hold down the "Command" Key and press V.

14. Hit "Next"

15. Your playlist should appear on your page.
