Soundtrap is an online software that allows you to work on music anywhere you are.
Today we are going to set up a Soundtrap account and begin learning what the software can do.

Go to soundtrap.com/edu
Click Log in (in the top right hand corner)
Click "Log In with Google" and log in with your nycstudents.net email.
You should be taken to your home page.

Click on the cog wheel in the right corner.
Tutorial Video and Quiz
Today is about learning some basics of Soundtrap.
You will watch the overview Tutorial and then answer some questions about what you learned.
First click the purple button that says "Enter Studio."
This will take you into the web-based recording studio.
Star by watching the video "Soundtrap Introduction: How to Get Started."
You can find video "Tutorials" in the upper menu of the studio

Once you have watched the tutorial take the assigned quiz that is posted in Google classroom. You can take this quiz as many times as you need. The point is to learn the basics.
Explore the studio, try to make a song or beat, and see what some of possibilities of the software are.
If you like what you make, be sure to hit "Save" before closing your browse or exiting the studio.
