How to Embed a Soundcloud Player

You can easily give people access to the music you are writing about by adding a link to the music in Soundcloud.

If you have an account you can either share a link to the album or embed a player.

If you don't have a Soundcloud account, you can still share a link to an album or playlist.


Steps for sharing a link:

1. Go to Soundcloud in a web browser.

2. Login if you have an account.

3. Click in the search box

4. Type in the artist you want to share

5. Hit "Return"

6. Find the album or playlist you want to share. You can see an options menu on the left side of the webpage.


7. At the bottom of the playlist or album you should see a series of images. Click on the one that looks like this:

8. A window will pop up that looks like the one below. Click where it says "Embed."

9. Click on the box below the word 'Code, so that it turns blue.

10. Hold down the "command" key and press "C." The link is now copied to the clipboard and you can paste it on your webpage.

11. Go back to your google webpage.

12. Double click on a blank section of your webpage

13. A circular menu should appear. Click on the symbol below:

14. A window will pop up. Click where it says "Embed Code."


15. Hold "command" down and press V. The code should copy into the box.

16. Press "Next," preview the playlist, and press "Insert."

17. The playlist should appear on your page.
