This unit explores the distribution and characteristics of biomes and their potential to support global food production within Australia. Students analyse the sustainability of farming practices and the challenges of feeding future populations amid climate change, and explore human-induced environmental changes, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander environmental knowledge, and different environmental worldviews.
