There are an almost infinite number of Multimedia Systems out there. The syllabus takes a more narrow view of what comprises a multimedia system and provides a few examples only (thankfully!) These include:
education and training
leisure and entertainment
information provision, such as information kiosk
virtual reality and simulations such as flight simulator
combined areas such as educational games
While also discussing advances in technology which are influencing multimedia development.
