Arranging the artworks in the gallery and deciding how to hang the works. Have a layout in mind of how and where you want the pieces to be situated properly. Envision how you want the visitor to view and walk around the room. Do not pile too many art works in the same space but give each one a certain space. Create a cosy atmosphere, and good light for each art piece. As we have a lot of paintings and of different sizes and techniques, it is not a good idea to put all of them in line. Instead, we have created groups and arranged them in a nice composition of several paintings that fit together.
First put them on the floor and try to imagine how they fit together
Passepartout with single and double window
Labels in the same layout as the artworks.
Apart from that we also wanted to have collective artworks displayed and it is not easy to find the best way to integrate them in the exhibition with the paintings and drawings.
We prepared a frame and a glass back to which the glass trays were glued
These fragile items were displayed in a showcase protected by a glass cover
Preferably on the windows so that they are enhanced by the light
A special structure has been devised for the tiles.
One is a wooden frame with multiple spaces, covered with rustic fabric.
The tiles are stuck on the back with velcro.
The others hung with a long ribbon on a wall.
