Colourful glass platters
The platters are made in fusing glass technique. In the first phase, flat glass is cut out in the shape of circles. Afterwards, the workshop participants create design projects that they would like to place on the platter. Later on, the ideas are made by pouring glaze onto one of the round glass panes. The perishable pattern is closed between the panes.
Then the glasses are placed on chamotte forms and placed in the furnace. The glass is heated to 810 degrees Celsius. As a result, the glass melts and changes its shape to fit the forms and all the elements used are joined together.
