For those of you who are just meeting me, I have been with EPSD since 2004, as an elementary classroom teacher, Instructional Support Teacher and now as K-12 Technology Integration Specialist. Prior to coming to East Penn I served in the Nazareth School District as an Instructional Technology / Gifted Support Teacher for six years and in the Reading School District as an elementary classroom teacher for four years.

My undergraduate degree is from Millersville University in Elementary Education and I have a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Supervision along with a K-12 Principal’s Certificate from Penn State. Additionally, I have been a Level 2 Google Certified Educator, Apple Certified Teacher, and Common Sense Recognized Educator. I also currently teach instructional technology graduate classes for PD Campus.

The role of technology integration specialist for the district is both exciting and fast paced and one I am thoroughly enjoying. Seeking out innovation and working through its practical implementation across all 10 buildings in the district keeps me happily engaged in new and exciting projects. I love seeing how our East Penn students and teachers continue to reimagine the future.

The other big loves in my life are my two sons, Jackson age 15 and Luke age 12, and my husband Mark. I spend a lot of time supporting these three guys in their endeavors which include basketball, lacrosse, 4H, and farming. We have the great pleasure of living on our family farm with a herd of registered Holsteins which my husband and father-in-law milk twice a day. It’s a wonderful place to raise children and I am often outside riding along in a tractor, working in the many gardens around our home, or doing my favorite free time activity which is walking our two dogs through the fields. If you care to learn more about living on a dairy farm you can watch the 6 minute youtube video we made during the summer of 2017.
