Club spotlight
Ms. Chilton-Carr is the sponsor for the Gay-Straight Alliance club. The GSA club is a student-led club, which means that the members decide what they want to do during the meetings that happen on Wednesdays during FLEX. The GSA club is a safe space for LGBTQ+ students to hang out together and share common interests, as well as planning after school get togethers and get guest speakers on the topics of interest. The students can come up with different activities to do, as they have planned to play laser-tag outside of school. Anyone can feel free to join the GSA club if they are part of the LGBTQ+ community, or an ally, and are looking for a safe space to make friends.
