In this class we will be spending quite a bit of time outdoors. What sorts of things will we be doing? What is the art part? Glad you asked! Here are some examples of possible units and activities: creating and using homemade natural art supplies; becoming a naturalist and learning to recognize and draw plants and animals as well as their signs and tracks; you may even learn about edible plants, making some meals and learning the art of tabling food for display. If these ideas and more sound interesting, come join us for, The Nature of Art!
Mr. Howard and Mr. Foley intend to try and use the calendar to provide an at-a-glance insight into what we are working on day-by-day, and to help provide access to materials that caretakers may be unable to access from their student's Google Classroom.
