My arpillera shows people stuck inside due to the lockdown from Covid-19. The street is empty and Covid is everywhere outside. They are all separated in their homes wearing masks. For several months on end, people were separated from friends and loved ones. Everyone was bored and sick of being inside. I was very deprived of social interaction and I know that my siblings were, too. People were struggling to try to adapt to working from home. People need social interaction and when you take it away from people, they don't function as well as they should. This impacts society and could hurt people's minds.
