Shuttle Bus

The shuttle bus is a way that students can come over to the main campus to enjoy different types of classes that may not be at the ninth grade campus. Students need to be in class so they don't miss anything.

The problem from last year has been sholved sure the bus is still crowded, but how rowdy the kids are has been solved.

“Last year it was very rowdy. Many kids fought to sit in the seat rather if it was to sit next to their friend or just to sit down in general,”sophomore Isabel Jimenez said. “It was a problem because kids would want to go to lunch on time but there would be no seats so they would hide in the aisle but then they would get kicked off the bus.”

The shuttle bus is hectic but it gets the job done, some may say you can get work done during the small ride.

“I personally like the shuttle because I can get work done on the bus but I don't like it's very  crowded. My bus from 9th grade to main durning 5th period is really good but in the mornings it is so hectic.” freshmen Amy Massey said.

Since the block schedule the shuttle bus is easier to handle.

“So last year before block schedules happened it was more chaotic since we rode every day, but now I think it is less crowded since they can split students up by days,”  Jimenez said

The more we grow at the school the more we need, the amount of students are growing at a fast rate and the school is a little over its limit.

“If they still are overcrowded then they probably need to split the number of students by block schedules, but the school can only do so much because we are reaching our population capacity by 150%,” Jimenez said.

Being new to one school is hard enough, but for freshman shuttle riders they have to be new to two schools.

“Personally I love the 9th grade campus just being alone. I don't like whenever I'm at the main campus and I eat lunch. I don't know anyone, it's odd I would prefer being at the 9th grade more,” Massey said.

The shuttle makes opportunities for students to make more friends and to open to new classes.

“I think it’s fine and it's not really exciting but the classes I have with upperclassmen are band and cheer. I'm not scared of them their my freinds,” Massey.
