The Holidays

This past holiday break was a little different due Covid but we all seemed to manage, so we could stay safe and healthy. Normally during Christmas break, we would go and visit family, and eat a lot of food and spend time with family and loved ones. It was different because we would normally travel to see other people and now with us still being in a pandemic, we have limited ourselves with how many people that we are supposed to be around. Every year around this time, we would be doing many things for the holidays because that is when we would travel and spend time with friends and family.

"Mainly just go and visit family, and spend time with my girlfriend, but since Covid is still going around, and I know that I can't really visit people like that I've just have been seeing just my grandparents and my girlfriend," Derek Samuels said.

Other than that, we know that people celebrate Christmas in different ways, which is perfectly ok but since we have a lot going on, there were probably some changes to our holidays like our festivities for instance.

"We really didn't change anything because we just don't really do much except visit family, but we have been cutting down on going over to people's houses because of the pandemic," Callie Nelson said.

The holidays are our favorite time of year because we get to see other family members and we enjoy each other's company, not only that but we also give and receive gifts. It is a bright spirited feeling because we are surrounded by loved ones.

"My plans for the break are just getting and receiving presents, spending time with family, and hanging up the tree," Rayne Grill said.

Even though the pandemic has kind of put a stop to what we normally do, it didn't stop us from not spreading Christmas cheer, just only by being six feet away.
