Donald Trump And His 34 Felonies
In the New York case, Former President Donald Trump has been charged by a New York grand jury with 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. Trump pleaded not guilty to all charges
These certain felonies is punishable by up to four years in prison though it’s not clear if a judge would impose any prison time if Trump is convicted. The next court date is Dec. 4 two months before Republicans begin their nominating process in earnest and Trump will again be expected to appear.
The Manhattan District Attorney's Office alleges Trump orchestrated a scheme to suppress damaging information before the 2016 election.
Prosecutors say the scheme involved falsifying business records to conceal three payments, including $130,000 that Trump attorney Michael Cohen paid to Stormy Daniels.
A conviction due to all these felonies would prevent Trump from running for or winning the presidency in 2024. But Trump still expects to show up in the 2024 presidential election despite all 34 felonies.
