U11A Cricket - The 100 @ Saints Festival: 25 - 27 September
The U11A boys took part in The 100 @ Saints Cricket Festival hosted by St Charles from 25 - 27 September. The festival brought together strong cricketing schools from across the country, providing the boys with a great opportunity to test their skills and enjoy competitive cricket in a fun environment.
A special highlight was the chance to play on the Main Oval and use the First Team change rooms, an inspiring experience that gave the boys a glimpse of what they can strive toward in the years ahead.
Results:
vs St Charles Invitational – Clifton won by 116 runs (Joshua Flack 48, Wessel Ebersohn 46, Jameson Duff 32, Takunda Nyabonda 4 for 4)
vs Highbury – Clifton lost by 8 wickets (Wessel Ebersohn 59)
vs St Stithians – Clifton won by 8 runs (Wessel Ebersohn 50*)
vs Chelsea (Cup Semi-Final) – Clifton lost by 70 runs (Joshua Flack 53)
vs Ashton (Cup 3rd & 4th) – Clifton lost by 10 runs (Joshua Flack 47)
All in all, it was a memorable festival and the boys can be proud of their performances and the way they represented Clifton both on and off the field.
