Clifton College Concert: 13 October

A Memorable Start to the Fourth Term at Clifton Notties!

We kicked off the term with a special visit from the talented boys of Clifton College, Durban. Excitement filled the air as our children enjoyed a vibrant and diverse musical performance featuring instruments like the trumpet, saxophone, cello, bells, and even a traditional Chinese flute, a definite crowd favourite!

Led by the Director of Music at Clifton Durban, Mrs. Shelley Downham and accompanied by Mrs. Nina Watson, the programme included beautiful solos and choral pieces from popular musicals such as "Rent" and "The Hunchback of Notre Dame". For some of the Matric boys, this was a bittersweet moment, marking their final school performance.

Our boys and girls were inspired, with many expressing an interest in learning instruments, especially the double bass! This visit was particularly meaningful as it marked the high school boys' first performance at Clifton Notties, strengthening the special bond between our schools, founded by Mr. Harry Sutcliffe. Their stop here, en route from their annual "Reichenau Mission" performance, brought joy and enrichment to our community.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved and we look forward to many more shared moments ahead.
