SP + JP Art Exhibition: 28 October
The 2025 Art Exhibition was a celebration of all things ‘Clifton’ - leaves, trees, footprints and feathers... From Grade 1 to Grade 7, we spent a couple of months building up to and preparing for this special occasion. Chickens were drawn in pastels and acrylic markers and printed with lino. Maple trees were painted in water colours and beaded in wire. Cardboard, gold paint, pine cones, and pipe cleaners were used to make 3D snails, footprints and feathers.
The evening was a great success with our guest speaker Sarah Richards (who is a local sculptor from the area and the artist who made the boy in our garden of remembrance) giving an inspiring talk on how she became an artist and encouraged the children to embrace their own unique creativity. The Michaelhouse marimbas bands, Clifton marimba band and SP choir entertained the crowds with incredible music.
To top it off, the harvest table and refreshments were delicious! All in all, it was a very enjoyable evening and we are looking forward to another successful event next year to show off our beautiful artwork.
