This is Zelyn, Year 1 student of Sekolah Cikal Surabaya, with her drawing about her favourite character, Spongebob Squarepants. She likes the character, that’s why she drew the Spongebob Squarepants character on her paper. It was not too easy for her to finish it, but she needs to be more serious to do it so the drawing looks like the original version. This drawing is taken from one of the activities on Visual Art. It's called "What to Draw". There are 12 boxes filled with the numbers of clues and instructions for students to draw. Students need to roll the virtual dice from Google, then draw the number they got. From this game, Zelyn got the clue to draw her favourite character.
This is Mayka, Year 1 student of Sekolah Cikal Surabaya, with her doodle drawings. There are 2 doodles. The floral doodle one, and the fantasy doodle one. Mayka is one of the most talented students in art. She always comes earlier during the online class. These doodles are taken from the Painting Beginner 2nd semester topic. She likes drawing so much and full of imaginations. We can see it from her doodle. Filled with so many objects like flowers, sun, mushroom, and many more. The floral doodle is inspired by her garden and the fantasy doodle is inspired by Snowwhite and the 7 Dwarfs.
This is Elmyr, Year 1 student of Sekolah Cikal Surabaya, with his colour mixing experiment. Colour mixing is one of the Visual Art activities during online learning. Students learned and are taught about colour: the name, the category, how to produce and how to mix it to a new type of colour. After learned about colour mixing, now for this playground he chooses to take his understanding of colour mixing further than before. He did a new experiment with watercolour and pasta. He coloured the portions of pasta and put them together and combine them with his drawing into a couple of flowers.
This is Sigra, Year 1 student of Sekolah Cikal Surabaya, with his recycle product. This product is taken from his learning experiences in Visual Art and the collaboration with Sciences in the first semester. He made this product as the application of his understanding after he learned about 3R (Reuse, Reduce, Recycle) from Sciences and Form from Visual Art. The students are allowed to do the research, choose the materials, and choose the product that they want to make. For the project, he chose to create a book and paper holder from unused cardboard. Sigra got the cardboard itself from his cereal box.

This Zentangle drawing is taken from the Painting Beginner 2nd semester topic. Actually, there are 4 main topics in Painting Beginner such as Doodle, Scribble Art, Zentangle, and Mandala. But for this Playground, Fachry chose his Zentangle to show because he likes this one. Fachry did his Zentangle drawing patiently. We can see it from his Zentangle drawing: filled with so many patterns built from lines, dots, objects, and colours. He got so many inspirations from his friends and from his own research.

My project is patterned artwork. Pattern artwork is artwork that is repeated throughout the canvas. I made my project by putting the same drawing on the canvas repeatedly. by putting the same drawing across the canvas it will soon become a pattern. I also put other shapes across the canvas and a mix of colors to make it.
