Proyek ini tentang mendaur ulang limbah plastik dari kantong plastik menjadi Hiasan Hari Raya Imlek.Saya memilih projek ini karena saya ingin belajar membuat prakarya dari plastik bekas untuk hiasan Imlek dan kita juga harus mengurangi sampah plastik supaya tidak banjir. Tantangan yang saya hadapi adalah ketika menggunting dan menempel plastik. Saya mengatasinya dengan menggunting dan menempel secara hati-hati sekali. Yang saya pelajari selama dan setelah projek adalah saya bisa memanfaatkan barang-barang bekas menjadi barang baru yang bermanfaat dan saya harus lebih hemat untuk tidak membeli barang-barang yang baru.

Saya memilih projek ini karena saya sedang membutuhkan tempat untuk menyimpan benang dan jarum.dan sebagai kegiatan re-use. Tantangan yang saya hadapi adalah menempel hiasan dan benang ke kaleng dan saya mengatasinya dengan menempel berulang-ulang dan hati-hati, Yang saya pelajari dari projek ini adalah pentingnya mendaur ulang barang bekas menjadi barang yang bisa dimanfaatkan kembali bahkan kita bisa menambah keuangan kita dari hasil karya daur ulang..

Newtons Third Law Video by Kynya Arrazzaqu

My project is a video talking about newtons third law it was actually a fun process to create the video even though it took a lot of time to make but yes this is another project that I am proud of! To make the video i used imovie and canva so I made all the designs and the slides with canva and then put it all together with imovie and added the voiceover and music.

I chose this because as I mentioned before I'm pretty proud of this video and I think its very informational but yet still entertaining to watch.

My name is Faiz.

My project is about the cell system I learned in term 1 science.

I chose this project because it was fun to do and I want people to know about the cell system as well.

The challenging part is that I need to connect all the information about cells and combine them on how they work, but I overcome this challenge due to a lot of research overnight.

I learn that the cells in our body works the same way as how us human work in the city.

Understanding Matters Through Fun Cooking Activity by Darma Wirasatya Soebadi

In this activity in the science program, students analyze the content of the food they cook themselves. Starting from the level of atoms, molecules, compounds, to mixtures in foodstuffs. Students also learn to determine which ingredients are good for making healthy food from the content of the ingredients.

DIY Spectroscope by Kamila Jaida Rahma

My Project is about making a spectroscope and promoting it in a brochure. It is from the collaboration of Science and English Class. I made this spectroscope from a cardboard roll and a CD, then hand-painted it with the theme Among Us. The theme doesn't relate to Science at all, but I thought it would be interesting because it was a popular game and my marketing target is kids. I chose this project for the showcase because it was fun to make and the spectroscope device is really interesting. I'm quite proud of how well I painted it and how neat it is. The challenges of making this project is making the persuasive text for the brochure. I overcome it with the help of my english teacher Miss Ami, because I didn't understand it at first that did you learned during and after making the project? During making the project, I learned how to promote my Spectroscope, and about refraction, color spectrum.

My project is about Spectroscope,made from a cartoon paper tube,CD and tape and when you assemble it together, you could see a spectrum from the CD. I chose this project because it's easy. The challenge in making this spectroscope is, when i want to make a hole the cartoon paper tube is quite difficult and how did i overcome it, i use force to make a hole the cartoon paper tube.I learn about the colour spectrum.

"This poster is related to the material in term four which is about simple and compound machines.

I analysed a bicycle as an example of a compound machine. I explained about its mechanism and parts of a bicycle, and mentioned many types of bicycles. Besides that, I also asked my teacher to give me feedback so I could make it better.

Canva is the platform that I used to make this poster. I also have more than a couple of resources from the internet.

During the process of making this poster I learned how to use Canva as well as the parts of a bicycle, identifying simple machines, and many types of bicycles. I also found that bicycles make life so much easier in everyday life. Simple machines can help get the job done quicker and functional let alone combining them to make a compound machine."

Poster about a Spectrocope which allows you to see the colors of a Rainbow through a cardboard tube. I took the template of an Already existing poster, Removed the images on the poster and then replace it with mine, I first start with the Title then i work my way to the Explanation of the spectroscope, I added a Duct tape image to give the poster a DIY feel. Then i took a picture of my own Spectrocope and fit it at the bottom of the Poster. Finally, i added my Name and date of creation and then I'm done. The challenge is that I hesitated to do it at first , but since i have nothing else to do then i guess i'll do it. Then i managed to Ignore my laziness and finished it in a short time. I feel relieved after it's done.

"The project is to analyze what kind of simple machines are in there. I used the teacher’s example of how to calculate and what are the simple machine’s name. I also add the types of the can opener for adding the resources. To make the digital poster I use canva, and adding the picture from google.

I chose this project because it’s the most topic that I remember and I give much effort to make the poster, probably the best poster I have made in science class. To show my effort in this summative I decided to so pick this project."

Geothermal and Windmill Power by James Melvin Bonney

My product is an Essay and a virtual city that I made in the game, Minecraft. The process of making these products is I first started to make and start to make small parts of the virtual city, this includes main roads, city buildings, and the features of the place. Later on, in the build I will follow the requirements to get my selected grade, this includes having 5 buildings, 2 energy sources (2 energy plants), and the energy needs to be at least 100% renewable. When the build is about 80%, I started to make the Essay. I started with the introduction; which includes basic information about energy, what is dirt energy (non-renewable energy), etc. And follow up with the body of the essay; the location information and development. I will also apply the criteria that were provided by the teacher to get a full score, this includes an essay that has a minimum of 700 words, content includes a general description of Indonesia and its energy needs with reference, content includes a description of selected energy sources (definition and energy transformation involved, example of existing power plants, history), etc.

The challenges that I have to face when making this science project are 1, the time (time management). The reason I have this challenge is that that the project's timeline is 2 weeks until the deadline, so basically, I have 2 weeks to do the whole science assignments (the virtual city and essay) in 2 weeks, keep in mind there are also other summatives that are still in the process of finishing. The way I overcome this is to do what summative or assignment has the closest deadline so I don't go over the deadline and forget an assignment. Other challenges include finding credible sources and making the city, which I overcome by putting more effort into finding and making the items.

JAMES SCIENCE TERM 4 ESSAY

Green Community by Aliyyah Maryam Andrias

The project displayed is a green city concept of Indonesia’s new capital, Penajam Paser Utara. The city model uses hydropower and wind energy as its main source of energy, therefore concluded as a ‘green community’ as it is a healthy environment with sustainable resources. The city model itself was designed from scratch, taking inspiration from cities like New York City, Vancouver, and Oslo. The project was able to develop my creativity and critical thinking, as I had to take into account the capabilities of hydropower and wind energy along with the geographical location of Penajam Paser Utara while still keeping the design ‘green’.

Rocket Experiment by Avicenna Arshad Harahap

"This is my Term 3 Science experiment on energy. Here I intend to prove my hypothesis which was that objects with different weights will affect distance of the object propulsion, say that a heavier object will cause the rocket to have shorter distance, while a lighter object will travel farther

I chose this for my playground of learning because I think it is the experiment I had the most fun building.

The most challenging part was building the rockets. I have made 3 rockets with different weight. The problem was that sometimes the fins of the rockets would be different affecting the flow of aerodynamics. Also as I used double tape, some of the fins were un-evenly placed.

What I learned from this project was that the medium rocket traveled the furthest. So my hypothesis is partially correct that the medium weighted rocket travelled further than the heavier rocket. However the medium rocket also traveled further than the lighter one. This is probably because the medium rocket has better aerodynamic construction than the lighter one. As I mentioned before, designs of the fin would have affected the flow of aerodynamics.

DIGITAL CITIES by Muhammad Kaean Enola Wirjoatmodjo

I made a sustainable city model of Penajam Paser Utara (the future Indonesian capital city) in minecraft for my summative assessment project’s final product. Complete with the use of many references, city planning beforehand in terms of building placement, roads, public spaces, etc. Making this in minecraft provides infinite possibilities to make a city like this. The challenges I faced were in planning the city. I had to watch many videos, research on how a city is planned out. Roads, greenery, building placement, public places, but I rounded it up since the scale isn’t too big. I overcame these challenges by much planning including rough sketches of how I want the city to look and taking much time doing so, probably around a few days or so with a lot of research. After this project, I learned a little bit more about city planning, and particularly how a sustainable and green city can contribute to its citizens in various ways.

The atomic model of Lithium by Kenisha Raymia Djamal

On this year’s playground of learning journey, I chose science as the subject that I prefer during this term. One of the assignments I chose to show in this virtual gallery is a [LITHIUM MODELATOM INFOGRAPHIC POSTER] which was one of the assignments that I think that I put more effort to on this term. This project took me approximately 3 days to a week to complete each criterion and revision. At the start I made the main product which was making a Lithium Bohr model atom, and following the main product I made a digital poster related to the model atom product I made. The digital poster contains information about lithium’s mass number, its origin, lithiums daily use, etc. Since I am really interested in the topic of the project that was created, I decided to showcase the product because I was satisfied with the final product. On the other side, I think not everyone is aware of atoms and its elements, especially lithium so I think showcasing a brief explanation of lithium would be knowledgeable to students as well.

The Respiratory System and Coronavirus by Gisela Annabel Windoe

This is a Google Site on The Respiratory System and Coronavirus for term 4, semester 2, Science summative assessment. The site covers the introduction, as well as five guiding questions around the topic of respiratory system, coronavirus and its correlation. I conducted a research then compiled all the information I have gathered to be presented through Google Site. This assignment allowed me to broaden my understanding on the respiratory system in a real-life manner. By finding the correlation between the respiratory system and the corona virus. I practiced all kinds of skills through the process that continues to be beneficial for my learning journey.

One of the reasons why I chose this work to be showcased was the initial purpose of this assignment which was ‘to create content helping people become more knowledgeable about the respiratory system and the corona virus by researching causes, symptoms, and body reactions of this virus.’

The Respiratory System and Coronavirus by Callista Angel Louistiawan

The product is about how corona virus can affect your respiratory system through the causes, symptoms, and the body reaction of the virus. This product is a summative assessment from the Science program. To make this product, I use Google Site because it is the easiest way to present and show the information that could be seen properly and neat, and images that indicate the texts. From the product, you could get more knowledge on how to prevent the coronavirus, what coronavirus does to your body, parts of the respiratory organ that the virus attacks, and a short introduction of coronavirus and respiratory system. I choose this project to be showcased because this product is fun to make, and I’m proud of the outcome. I also hope that people get more knowledge from this product.

Science Copper Tape Circuit Tutorial by Aloysius Felix Susanto

This Year’s Playground of Learning Journey, I chose Science as the subject and the project is from my Summative for Term 3 about a tutorial on making a Copper tape circuit. There are 2 kinds of circuit which are Series and Parallel, the difference for both circuits are the branches, Series circuits only have 1 branch while Parallel circuit should have more than 1 Branch. The materials you need are a CR2032 Battery, Copper foil tape, LED and any sort of paper or base. The battery is used to power the LED and the copper tape is used to transfer power from the battery to the LED so it can light up. In the entire process, I only encountered 1 flaw which is during placing the copper tape. I tried to make the circuit in a square shape but I didn’t make a straight line. I thought that it might affect the LED not lighting up and if I peel them it might not stick as well, however I realised that you don’t need the copper tape to be straight, it just has to touch with one another to be connected so I did not do anything about it. This project was really fun to do and I suggest you try it as well.

When creating the series and parallel circuit, they learn about how to conduct an experiment, evaluate a method and add the improvement for the experiment. They have to find the best way or method to make their lights of their circuits on. Furthermore, they also learn how to present an experiment in a creative way. Thus, they can get deeper understanding about conducting, making hypothesis, presenting the result and evaluating a experiment.

"The reason I chose Science to be showcased is because the topics we discussed were very interesting and also fun which is making parallel and series circuits. The topic was familiar to me because I have learned it since I was in elementary school but I never made the actual circuit. That made me curious to make the actual circuits. so I decided to show my work in this event.

The making process was quite challenging even though it looked easy. The lights weren't easy to turn on so I did a lot of trial and error by taking advantage of the school's new features during online learning, called KBKK where I can meet my tutor and explain the solution."

"Brain Cancer And What You Should Know About It" by Reuben Ebera

This article explains about brain cancer, including its symptoms, causes, treatment, etc. I wrote this article for my biology summative assessment in Term

The reason I chose this project is to raise awareness about brain cancer and inform others about it. While writing this article, the main challenge I had was time management, but I managed to overcome that by seriously focusing on finishing the article on time while also making sure that every section of the article is complete and detailed. From this project, aside from learning important facts about brain cancer, I also got to learn how to efficiently structure an article's layout and make it look eye-catching to readers.
