Abyasa Dipawastu

What is my project about and how did I make it?

My project is making a clicking game from scratch. Is a web that allows you to create your own game. Scratch is very easy to use. I have never made a game before but this is my first time using this website. I can make my own game easily. It's easy to use because there is a tutorial about how to use scratch and how you make your own game. I'm using scratch to make this project. I need to put together blocks to make the game. Blocks is a box that can make the character in my game move, talk, play music, etc.

Why i choose this project to be showcased

I chose this project because it's my first time making a game and its successful so i'm very proud of myself. So I wanted to show my game to other people on cikal so they can see what my game is and what my game is about.

Reusable Bag by Mohammad Kaysar Al Shanahan

What is your project about and how to make it? My project is about tote bag, how I make it is very simple you need two items to make it scissors and old clothes. choose this project to be showcased? because what I see is some people just throw it away in the trash, actually, you can make a tote bag from old clothes or you can give it to people who need it. And it's very easy to make.

Reusable Bag by Ahsan Danendra Wibisono

In this project I made a totebag made out of a spare shirt that I had, in an effort to to help raise awareness and help reduce air pollution. Before I made this product, I already planned out the steps and what I needed to do to make this product. There are a total of 3 steps to make this product. First, I cut the sleeves and neckline in a rounded scoop shape. Then, I cut the bottom of the shirt into strips. Lastly, I pulled down and tied the strips together so that the items that could be placed inside wouldn't fall out. During and after the making of this project, I learned that even small things can contribute towards a big problem.

Reusable mask by Dhanu Salvatore Prajanto

My project is about environmental problem, I pick air pollution as my problem, one of the selution I choose is to make a masker that could prevent from getting air polution, using materials such as cloth as the main material and some other materials like shoelace and others. Sewing was the most difficult for me at first but after doing it a few times and practice it was easier to sew.

Reusable Bag by Natt Alejo Vizano

Natt use their design thinking skill to solve an environmental problem by creating a product as the solution.

Bucket hat by Annabelle Regina Maria Pooroe

My product is a bucket hat that's made from old clohes and fabrics, i made it with my own hand, and its kind of challenging. the main problem for this project is water pollution. from the fashion industry is the result of textile factories dumping untreated toxic wastewaters directly into waterways. my solution for the problem is making bucket hats from the fabric waste, i made it from old fabrics and it means i reuse the fabric to make better things and make it slow fashion from it :))

Reusable pouch by Oriana Dita Syawali

-In this project about the world’s environmental problem, I chose to pick a topic about the plastic pollution that enters marine ocean lifes and created a reusable pouch to represent it. I use a used cloth to create this product and the process of making this reusable pouch is a little bit difficult at first, because I have to use a sewing machine to create the pouch, but after I did some research and learned how to use a sewing machine, I finally figured out how to use it.

- I chose this project to be showcased because the process of making this product is interesting and fun, so that's why I chose this project to be showcased.

Reusable T-Shirt bag by Vito Ramadhan

So my product is a reusable bag from a t-shirt that i made, I choose this project because for me this project is ineteresting and also fun to do, and during this project for me there are no challenges because it's simple to make. after I made this project I feel like there shoudn't be any plastic bags anymore because you can make your own reusable bag and you can make this product at home with the materials you have at your home.

Reusable t-shirt tote bag by Riferio Ethan Widjaja

My project is about a reusable tote bag that i made using an unused t-shirt to promote recycling in order to reduce the smoke produced by the machines in the fast fasion industry. This project is simple to do because sewing isn't needed which is easy for everyone to do. We can also use our unused t-shirts to make other things or we can also donate them to the people who need them. I chose this project to be showcased because I wanted to raise awarness about pollution that we're causing by constantly buying clothes from the fast fasion industry producing a lot of wastes which harms our environment.

Reusable bag by Arrozzaq Nugroho Judojono

In design class I decided to make a reusable bag in the form of a tote bag. I chose the tote bag because of how easy it is to make. When creating the tote bag I had struggles on getting the right size and I did not know how to sew. I watched several tutorials on how to make the bag and some on how to sew. with the help of my teacher and mother I was able to create my first tote bag.

Shirt pocket, from clothes by Fuschia Nadira Islaniesa

My project is about making a shirt pocket out of my old clothes to reduce fiber scraps and unused fabric (old clothes or clothes that are too small to be used now are also one of the choices) being ended up on landfills that can cause floods. I chose this project because I am pretty impressed with myself on the results of the final product after all the sewing and the sewing needle poking my fingers a few times during the process. The hardest part in the making of this is the sewing part, since it has been a long time ever since I last sewed and this time, i had to sew fabric right onto the clothes. The pinning down with multiple pins, getting my finger stinged by it multiple times as well, but then, I still can overcome it by cutting lines of most of the sews and when there's a loose part of the sew I did, i can just resew it again. I also learned new things throughout this whole process, such as a new sewing technique, and also how to make the shirt pockets itself.

REUSABLE BAG by Nesya Nauli Gultom

For my project in design class, the problem I chose was the over-use of plastic bags, so I made a reusable bag using a t-shirt to help decrease the use of plastic bags. I made it using only a t-shirt that I no longer use, and a pair of scissors. To make it, I cut the sleeves of the shirt and also cut slits at the bottom of the shirt and tied them all together. I didn't really face any challenges while doing this project, making this reusable bag was pretty easy and a lot of fun to do.

UPCYCLED CAT DENIM VEST by Amabella Fatima

I chose to showcase my design project, which is the upcycling of a cat denim vest from an old pair of jeans.

I am content that my cat can look even better with the vest I created using unneeded material. First, I copied the pattern from the internet and drew it on a transparent paper. And then I pinned the pattern to the jeans. I cut the jeans following the pattern (with help! scissors are scary). Lastly, I sewed the velcro on the denim fabric as the fastener. I chose this because it features my favorite thing: cats!

THE POND by Tanisha Salwa Ghaissani

As a young kid, I heard the quote, “A picture is worth a thousand words”. As I grew up, I was interested in photography and I also joined a computer graphic club. These activities opened the window to beauty and serenity. The quote has become more vivid in my mind. My limited skills in photography and my curiosity in computer graphics let me go one step ahead by visualizing my wild imagination. The picture was based on the Kois in my dad’s pond. No sound, no noise, no sudden movements. They grazed around the dark pond. Sometimes you can see the colour, sometimes they go to the darkness of the deep. On some lucky days, all of them swim under the sun above the surface. Sometimes, you cannot see any. The drawing supposedly assembled the snapshots that no camera can take.

YEAR 9

PIECES by Galuh Asmoro Krisianti

A part of the Design Class, this album is entitled "Pieces."

Colored by imaginative colors wrap with shoelaces around, this design has a meaning of life. When pieces of little things are combined they become one whole meaning. Likewise, the process of the making. Started from brainstorming. Then, making the prototype. Eventually, creating the final. It all needed three months. Yet it was filled with diverse feels; decisive to satesfied. The feeling of satesfied bring this artwork to be showcased. Enjoyment while learning was a big factor in deciding which artwork should be showcase.

ALBUM DESIGN by Aina Sufiya Hidayani

This semester's design class, me and my year 9 friends got the chance to learn about album designing which was a very interesting topic to me considering the fact that I collect song albums myself. Not only were we able to design our own albums but we also had a chance to create a song for our own album as if we were making our own debuts as songwriters. The first term, we started brainstorming and created a journal to compile our ideas for the album into one place. Of course, we also looked for inspirations .

YEAR 10

Redesign BoA's Album Packaging by Gheriya Danish A.

My end product is a 3d album design I made in a 3d modelling software called Blender. I decided to redesign BoA’s Identity album packaging because I feel that the album design can be made more representative of the album title, namely "Identity”. The album cover of my design has an image of fingerprints that may represent the title of the album. I also keep the cover simple so that it will create a sense of mystery. I added stuff inside like the ID card, identity document containing the tracklist and lyrics, and BoA’s photo with signature. I also tried to keep the color theme the same as the original design, so it doesn’t lose the branding of the original design. The album also has different printing material such as doff cardboard (cover), glossy PVC paper (id card), and doff paper (BoA’s photo with signature).

ALTERNATE IGOR CASSETTE by Arsatya

I made a redesign Album cover and made it into a cassette for this project. How do I make this? I use Canva for the redesigning the album cover and then I make the cassette cover in google slides because I only can make them in Gslides. I chose this project because I love the way it is done and the results are also as expected.
