As we begin a new week at WMAES, we want to share a few important updates and reminders with our families.
We’d like to invite you to complete our family feedback survey. We truly value your input and use family feedback to reflect on what is going well and help guide our ongoing school improvement efforts. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We are also excited to begin Earth Week at WMAES, always a special time on our campus and a meaningful reflection of our environmental science focus. Throughout the week, students will take part in a variety of hands-on activities, including our annual class tree planting tradition. Over the years, WMAES students and staff have planted around 10,000 trees, most of them White Pines. Students will also participate in special garden projects on Wednesday and other Earth Week activities throughout the week that help bring learning to life in a unique and memorable way.
As the culminating event of Earth Week, we hope you will join us for Family Literacy Night and Open House on Thursday, April 23, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. It will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate student learning, connect as a school community, and enjoy an evening together on campus. Updated details for the event are included below.
Warmest regards,
Nathan VanDuinen
