Developed by Monash University and Swinburne as a part of the Numeracy@HOME project. The resources acknowledge that families are children's first maths educators.

The Victorian Maths Challenge encourages students and their families to engage in real life, everyday mathematics, through interactive challenges that promote problem solving. 

From the Maths Centre Task Project.  These tasks have been selected to encourage maths around the kitchen table. 

"The Flip, Make, Play cards are based on key research about the mathematics concepts that underpin young children’s mathematics learning, and how families can support this learning in everyday contexts through play. Educators can extend the positive impact of families playing with the Flip, Make, Play cards by providing families with advice and models of how to use the cards to assist children to notice and explore the embedded mathematics."

Animation series for students 5-8 and their families. The Mathscots is an animation series that has been developed to support numeracy at home.  

The teaching guide provides: an episode summary; mathematical focus; learning experiences with teacher tips; suggestions to build school-home connections; and Victorian Curriculum connections.
