(A.1) TYPOLOGY OF QUESTIONS(UT-1(V to VIII)

is a matter of following the Cbse guidelines and carrying a variety of the Questions under CBQ (Competency Based Questions),

SA(Small Answer) VSA(Very Small Answer) MCQ) , True False, Matching with lines, Map Analysis etc.

SYLLABUS PERCENTAGE;-P-1(20%),UT-1(30%),P-2(20%),UT-2(30%)=100%

Class V to VIII; SYLLABUS PERCENTAGE -UT-1(30%)

CONTENT /LESSON/CHAPTER BREAK-UP

40%CBQ (MCQ,OR CASE BASED OR ANY SIMILAR SOURCE)

Chapters/lessons would deal with MCQ/SA, VSA and other types of questions mentioned in section A.1)

Portfolio -(5 Marks) ; Extent to the Notebook and Homework, Subject Enrichment project digital file , Participation in Competitions; SOF, Silverzone, Science Quiz etc.

(1) 80 Marks Written Exam

A written question paper shall be divided into Two Parts (A and B)

Time -45 Minutes

MCQ, True False,Fill ups, Matching with lines, Jumbled Words, New-Words, SA(Small Answer) VSA(Very Small Answer), Map Analysis(If chosen for Quick answering)

2. Ask for Quick responses short or one word or Yes/No based on the Conceptual knowledge, formulas, and symbols

3. Every Question contains one mark.

4. Oral assessment performs on regular periods.

5. Identifying tools, material, or Lab apparatus.

6. In school period only and based on Early-Schedule-occupancy regardless of similarity in subject periods.
